Merlot
The international Merlot grape produces a wine with a ruby red color more or less intense, with fruity aroma, red flowers and notes. The flavor is quite tannic, soft, full-bodied.
It prefers hilly terrain and fresh, with good moisture.
The most suitable farming systems are the spurred cordon and Guyot that give a good shading the grapes to avoid sudden drops in acidity fixed due to an unwanted over-ripeness.
